W.I.P. (Work in Progress) Brief Update

Working like crazy over here now that I graduated with my Bachelor’s and can now focus better. Working on 9 customs at the moment but today I can give an update on 3 of em. On to some pictures!

First up is Samus! This figure has taken me a while but we are finally in the final stages of prep work before paint. If you don’t know much about this figure, my good buddy Justin (Red3183) sculpted this beauty and I was able to get my hands on a cast. Next step is a little more sanding to clean off any overspray of the primer, then its airbursh on the silver, multiple clear gloss colors, then panel lining and glowing details. This will be awesome once completed.

Next up is Leader Starscream! This beast of transforming delight has been airbrushed with a custom mix of grey. I also panel lined every nook and cranny to bring out all the sculpt details of the jet and bot mode. Next up if finishing all his tattoos and painting all of the details by hand. He is fully transformable!

Last update might not look like much (yes its a slab of wood lol), but this is just a preview of some awesomeness to come. I cut, sanded, stained, and lacquered three wood pieces to be used as bases for some very cool Appleseed mech suits. These bases will have some crazy desert/post-apocalyptic terrain and will have recessed areas for the figures to stand in all their glory.

Thats it for now, trying to get back into a regular update sequence so I am planning to have Fridays be the day where I can update all projects that I am able too(Comic-Con is next week so the 29th will be the next update).
