G1 Galvatron

Hi everyone! I had the honor of making this guy for Matt over at TFW2005.com. For those of you that do not know, this is Galvatron, but not just any Galvatron, no, he is one of thirty kits made by a newly formed company, Arianhod. He came in a bunch of bits and pieces and was a blast to put together. He was primed with white Krylon Fusion and painted with Reaper Master Line paint. I added my own little touches to the figure including a very strong magnet core so his waist can pivot and will never loosen and also a very nice ball joint neck so he can look down on his foes. Decal was also made by me. Congrats and thanks to Matt for having me finish this great figure.

Matt was gracious enough to email me a testimonial to my work on Galvatron. Thanks Matt!(Wipes Tear)

"Ever since 1986, when I was but a lad, my favorite transformer has been Galvatron. So it should come as no surprise that I shelled out for the limited edition model kit that so accurately depicts his movie and cartoon appearance. However, while I have some remedial painting and customizing ability, I knew I didn't have what it takes to make Galvatron as perfect as he needed to be. Enter Tony. I took a look at the customs on his website, and was sold upon seeing his amazing custom movie Stryker transformer.

Tony provided step-by-step updates of his assembly and painting of Galvatron. I was very impressed how he kept asking for my input along the way to ensure that I was satisfied with the final result. He didn't miss a single detail.

From the pictures, you can see just how spot-on perfect Tony's rendition of Galvatron is. He now occupies a spot on my mantle, where he shall forever remain. Tony's work speaks for itself. And the best compliment I can give him is repeat business. I commissioned another project for him to work on, this time, an Alternator. I have no doubt I'll be just as thrilled with the finished project.

Trust me, folks, if you have a custom project that needs professional-level quality, Tony is your man!" - Matt
